Do I Need an Account?

No. Hvsna works fully without an account on both Android and Web — your tasks, settings, and prayer times are stored on your device.

An account exists for one reason: syncing your data across devices, which also requires a paid Sync plan and a verified email address. See Syncing Across Devices.

Creating an Account

  1. Open Settings → Sign In (or Settings → Account)
  2. Choose Sign Up
  3. Enter your email and a password
  4. Check your inbox for a verification link and open it

New accounts are unverified until you open that link. A banner in the app reminds you, and you can resend the email from Settings → Sync.

Signing In on Another Device

  1. Open Hvsna on the other device (Android app or app.hvsna.com)
  2. Open Settings → Sign In
  3. Enter the same email and password

If you have an active Sync plan, your data downloads automatically.

Your Profile

Settings → Account shows your email, account ID, and the date you joined. This screen is currently read-only.

Signing Out

Settings → Sign Out. Your local data stays on the device; signing back in reconnects it to sync.

Subscription

The Sync plan is managed from the web app.

Settings → Subscription shows your current plan (Free or Sync), status, and renewal or end date.

  • Upgrade — tap Upgrade to Sync. Checkout is hosted by Lemon Squeezy; you're returned to the app and Sync turns on automatically.
  • Cancel or update payment — tap Manage Subscription or Update Payment Method to open your Lemon Squeezy customer portal. If you cancel, Sync keeps working until the end of the current billing period.

Password Reset & Account Deletion

These aren't available in the app yet. Email support@hvsna.com and we'll help:

  • Forgot your password — we'll send you a reset link
  • Delete your account — we'll remove your account and its synced copy

To clear data from a single device without deleting your account:

Use Settings → Reset Device Data (see Offline Use).

Account Recovery

If you can't access your email, contact support@hvsna.com with what you can recall about the account (approximate sign-up date, devices used, recent task content) so we can verify ownership.
